One of the best things about Anthem is that it's tucked away into the Black Mountains. This means you're out of the center of the city but still have easy access to all its amenities. It’s very easy to get to. Additionally, the median household income in Anthem is over $112,000, about double the national average. Anthem also has some of the best schools in the Valley, including Del Webb Middle School, Coronado High School, Lamping Elementary, and other great private and charter schools.

You can also find some of the best shopping and restaurants in all of the Valley here at Anthem. There's almost nothing you can't find in this awesome area. For those who love golf, the Anthem Country Club is home to a phenomenal golf course built by the infamous Hale Irwin and Keith Foster. It has six lakes, a gorgeous landscape with undulating terrain, and a phenomenal course to play.

An Active Community

Within Anthem, the Sun City Active Adult Community is a great option for those 55 and over. Homes here start from the $200,000s and go up into the millions. Located in the foothills of the Black Mountains, it’s a great place for retirement. It’s also popular for snowbirds coming in from Minnesota and other states, where it’s just a little too cold. What could beat the Henderson Desert?

The Sun City community also offers a great clubhouse where they put on a variety of spectacular events, nightly card games, and other entertainment for residents. On top of that, you've also got the Serenity Spa. Who doesn't love a spa day?

In addition to Sun City, Revere has two golf courses that were designed by Bill Casper and renowned architect Greg Nash. Revere includes practice facilities, a 23,000 square foot clubhouse, a fully stocked pro shop, and a full-service restaurant called Bachman's Grille.
