Top 5 Communities in Henderson NV

Are you thinking of moving to Henderson but don't know exactly where you want to live? If so, I'm going to show you the top spots! On this episode of We Know Henderson, I'm walking you through the city’s top five master plan communities to give you the rundown on the best neighborhoods. Since you probably have tons of questions about pricing, schools, and commuting to Las Vegas, this video will give you all the answers you need.

Henderson’s Top 5 Communities

Inspirada

The first neighborhood in our amazing city that’s worth exploring is also one of the newest.  Called Inspirada, this community sits on the West edge of Henderson, very close to the I-15 and Saint Rose Parkway. Inspirada is known for being family-oriented and truly unique. In this masterplan community, the variety of parks, walking trails, and modest speed limits promote a family-friendly atmosphere that can be hard to find elsewhere.

In addition to the calm vibe, there’s also plenty to do inside the community. Jolly Beans, for example, is a great coffee shop right in the heart of Inspirada that serves up coffee, smoothies, and tasty food to locals. You can grab an iced latte or tea and head out to one of the many great dog parks, pools, and baseball fields—or just fuel your morning before you drop the kids off at school. Inspirada brings city living to a suburb, with the Strip only about 15 minutes away.

Pricing in Inspirada is varied, with properties ranging from the high $200,000s up to the $700,000s. Part of the appeal of this Henderson neighborhood is the availability of homes for every budget, family size, and lifestyle. So whether you’re starting family, are a single individual, or are moving here to retire, you’ll be able to find the perfect fit.

Seven Hills

Moving on a little further East will take you to our next coveted neighborhood of Seven Hills. This development started in the late 90s and now boasts over 13,000 homes. Best known for its epic golf course, Rio Secco, Seven Hills is a golfer’s paradise. If you love to hit the links, you’ve probably already heard about this amazing course that includes 18 holes amidst beautiful surroundings.

At just 7 miles from the Strip, this community is close to Las Vegas amenities while creating space for family-friendly outdoor activities within it. Home prices can range widely, depending on if you’re looking for a single-family dwelling or a gated luxury mansion. Whichever you choose, you’ll have plenty to do and enjoy inside Seven Hills.

Anthem

Continuing East from Seven Hills lies the master plan community of Anthem. At the heart of this collection of luxury homes lies the Anthem Country Club, featuring a 7267-yard championship golf course. Amenities of this oasis include a fitness center, pools, tennis courts, dining, and children’s play areas.

Anthem is also home to two retirement communities, Sun City Anthem and Solera. Nestled right along the Revere golf course, residents can take advantage of two full 18-hole golf courses for a relaxing day on the green. You’ll also find plenty of restaurants, shopping, and swanky local hangouts to unwind and spend time with friends and family.

MacDonald Ranch

Right next door to Anthem is the community of MacDonald Ranch. This area is a bit more of a mix between residential and commercial, with some major streets running through the area as well as pocket neighborhoods. Aside from affordable homes, you’ll also find some amazing upscale properties.

The best-known area within MacDonald Ranch is MacDonald Highlands, set on the spectacular Dragon Ridge Golf Club. This phenomenal guard gated community is home to properties beyond most people's imagination. If you're looking for luxury living, MacDonald Highlands has it all for you.

Cadence

Our final neighborhood is out further East, a bit further from the Strip. This community is called Cadence, which surprisingly was built over a once-toxic waste dump. Hard work and over 60,000 soil tests have made Cadence a completely safe place to live, adding more life and living space to Henderson.

Cadence has amazing homes, including three-story buildings with rooftop decks. The spectacular views of the strip are breathtaking and hard to imagine unless you’ve seen them in person. New schools and plenty of new shopping are being built within the community. Though it’s still in development, you can get a lot for your money in Cadence. Since there are so many new homes being built, moving here will allow you to pick out the floor plan, features, and amenities within the home that you want. Trust me, you'll be happy with that bigger closet to fit all of your shoes.
